About the Story
A family of four living in Sausalito has some problems with their house. The family's routine changes. The repairs drag on in a nightmare of dripping water and drywall dust. The contractors raise their bids.
We've all seen it happen to our friends.
The line between the routine and the extreme can be a subtle one. It's summer, and the teens are looking for fun. A new job comes with surprises, some of them frightening. One person makes a bad decision, another says something they regret.
Within a few weeks two people may be dead.
It doesn't have to go down like this. You can change the outcome. You are both Audience and Actor.
About Our Author
Tracy Reed is a classically trained playwright who is the author of one of the first works of online Interactive Theatre, "The QuantumLink Serial", which ran on what is now the AOL network from 1988 to 1989. The interactive piece became the #1-rated special feature on AOL's systems, drawing a loyal and active audience.
Reed's traditional stage works have also been produced in both the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas, winning recognition from The National Endowment for the Humanities. "The Koi Pond" marks a return to the author's roots in online Interactive Theatre.
